Traditional training programs offer limited opportunities for realistic practice, which can lead to errors or uncertainty in real-world situations.
Our Solution
A Mixed Reality training application for the Meta Quest 3. The user practices in their own environment with a virtual patient and materials, guided by a step-by-step scenario that ensures sterility and hand hygiene. Thanks to Shared Spatial Anchors, a trainer can observe live and provide feedback. This transforms theory into a safe, realistic practical experience.

VR training for critical machine procedures
The Challenge
Borealis wants to make its current machine training programs more efficient and cost-effective. Operators currently learn mainly through traditional on-the-job training, which can lead to errors or unsafe situations and keeps downtime costs high.
Our Solution
A VR application simulates the full operation of the centrifugal pump. The trainer selects specific fault scenarios in advance, after which the operator must inspect the installation in VR, identify issues, and correct them. Typical faults include a closed suction valve, open drains, or a low oil level. When an error occurs, the pump provides realistic feedback such as warning lights, vibrations, sound, and even fire simulations. This allows operators to train safely and effectively without impacting production.
